Jim Schoonmaker has spent the last 17 years in the high technology industry, the last ten of which founding and leading technology based start-ups. He joined Mok3 Inc. in March of 2005 after four years as President & CEO of Liquid Machines Inc. During his tenure at Liquid Machines the company grew from inception to market leader in enterprise rights management solutions, formed strategic partnerships with Microsoft and EMC, acquired Ominiva Policy Systems and won accolades for its revolutionary Document and Email Control product lines. Prior to Liquid Machines Jim was president and founder of NerveWire Ventures. As a founding member of NerveWire's management team, he helped grow the company to more than 300 employees and first year revenues of $34M. Prior to NerveWire, Jim was the founding CEO of InterSense Incorporated a pioneer in applications for visual simulation and immersion. Prior to receiving an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management, he held senior management roles in product marketing, operations, and product development at Textron Corporation.
Mok Oh has 15 years of experience in computer science and computer graphics R&D. He is the founder of Mok3 Inc. & SuperTour.com, and inventor of the Mok3 technology based on his doctoral dissertation work from the Computer Graphics Group at MIT. At Mok3 Inc. & SuperTour.com, he is responsible for product and technology development, functioning as software architect and leading intellectual property development. He holds multiple patents in image-based modeling, image and photo editing, and 3D-related technologies. Prior to his doctoral work at MIT, he worked for Accenture as an Information Systems Analyst from 1994 to 1995, where he developed business software for AT&T. Mok also earned a Masters of Science and Engineering degree in computer science from University of Pennsylvania, and Bachelor of Arts degrees in computer science, art history and studio art from Oberlin College.
Jeff has spent close to 20 years as a serial entrepreneur and executive within the New England high tech community. He joined Mok3 Inc. in March of 2007 after two years as President of Greynose Consulting, an independent consulting practice focused on developing and executing business strategies to take advantage of early stage growth and exit opportunities. He has been an active advisor on matters of strategy, fundraising and M&A activities, as well as held interim sales and business development positions on behalf of his clients. Prior to Greynose, Jeff was President and CEO of TidalWire Inc., a leader in the distribution and sales of storage area networking products,. He led TidalWire's 30 month growth phase as revenues climbed from $13M to nearly $50M. During that period, TidalWire was recognized by Inc. Magazine for its outstanding vertical portal for storage networking professionals. In December of 2002 TidalWire was purchased by Network Engines (NENG) where immediately following the acquisition, Jeff became Vice President and General Manager of Distribution Operations and later served as Vice President of Corporate & Business Development. Prior to his work at TidalWire, Jeff co-founded and served as Director of Business Development at WebSpective Software, a content distribution and tracking software company. WebSpective was acquired by Inktomi Corporation (INKT) in 1999. Prior to WebSpective, Jeff held a number of enterprise software senior sales and business development positions. Jeff has a BS in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University.
